All women have the right to live a life free of violence. Your donation can help us provide critical services these women need, such as access to a hot meal, clean clothes and a warm bed.

Where the money goes

Atira believes your donations should go directly towards helping the women and children we serve. Every penny raised is used for things like food for our residents in our shelters, childcare for moms in groups, and to ensure there are support staff available 24 hours a day at all of our shelters and supportive housing programs.

Donate Funds & Gift Cards

Make a one-time donation or set up a monthly donation to Atira and watch your dollars in action throughout the year. To receive an official tax receipt for your donation, the Canada Revenue Agency requires a mailing address for both paper and e-receipts. Please email your full name and mailing address to donations@atira.bc.ca once you have submitted your donation for us to process this for you.
