Housing for women age 45+

The Marr housing for Women is a resident support program for women age 45 and older. The goal of the program is to support women to access community services and to live independent of violence and abuse, within a harm-reduction perspective. The Marr houses 28 women and it’s staffed 24/7. In the building there’s 2 communal kitchens, 5 bathrooms, 5 showers, a laundry room and a common room with sitting area equipped with telephone, computer with internet access and TV and DVD player. There’s a community kitchen on Tuesdays and a community Sunday breakfast where women can participate in preparing and enjoying a meal together.
